Ghana has quickly become one of Africa’s most exciting destinations – it has something for every traveler from the Safari’s Africa has become known for, to the off-the-beaten-path landscapes, vibrant cities, important history and lively cultural experiences.
Visiting one of Africa’s prosperous nations allows you to bear witness to a history that comes alive with its important transatlantic slave trade landmarks and also witness Africa beyond the typical stories of poverty that the media has popularized over the past few decades.

Important Info About Ghana

Vaccination:
By proceeding with your deposit, you acknowledge your awareness that the Yellow Fever Vaccination is mandatory for travel to Ghana. You must also carry your Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate for entry. One dose of the vaccine is safe and provides life-long protection against yellow fever. Ensure you have this requirement fulfilled to enjoy a seamless travel experience.
Visa:
Travelers to Ghana must obtain a visa 90 days or less before departure. A valid passport must be submitted with the required documentation and proof of a purchased flight is necessary for visa processing. Processing times vary between 10-20 days. You can apply for a Ghana visa online with the Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C. APPLY HERE
Flights:
Flights should be booked to and from Accra, Ghana (ACC). Arriving by 5pm on December 28th AT THE LATEST and departing anytime the morning of January 3rd. It is recommended to fly out of nearby airports (i.e. JFK/ATL) or using partner airlines like KLM instead of Delta for better pricing.
Travel Insurance:
Please note that travel insurance must be paid at the time of booking. You have the option to add travel insurance within 7 calendar days of your booking date, after which you won't be able to add it. We highly recommend including travel insurance from the start to protect your investment and give you peace of mind.
Transfers:
In order to arrange your transfer transportation to and from the airport and resort, we kindly request that all air information be provided by November 25th, 2025. Failure to submit air information by this date will result in the forfeiture of your included transfer transportation.

To confirm the reservation of our services, a non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required. The payment towards your trip must be paid according to the payment schedule. It is important to keep up with your trip payment schedule. When you make payments towards your trip, we in turn book activities, hotels and more on your behalf. Late payments will not be accepted.

CANCELLATIONS
When booking with another traveler for this group trip, please be aware that if one traveler cancels their reservation, the booking will be changed to the single occupancy rate, making the remaining traveler responsible for the full cost of the room. No refund will be issued if the room's total cost is not met. Any potential refund must be resolved between roommates, as the hotel will not issue refunds for unpaid room balances.

Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the start of the tour will be charged a cancellation fee of 15% of the tour cost or $ 400 per person, whichever is higher.

Cancellations made 59 to 45 days prior to the start of the tour will be charged a cancellation fee of 20% of the tour cost or $ 500 per person, whichever is higher.

Cancellations made 44 to 31 days prior to the start of the tour will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the tour cost or $ 700 per person, whichever is higher.

Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the start of the tour will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour cost, with No Refund.
No-shows, late arrivals, voluntary changes, or cancellations by travelers of tour days or services during a tour are non-refundable.

1. Are international flights included? We do not provide airfare as part of this package. This allows travelers the flexibility to choose their preferred airline, schedule, and choose seating preferences. Our Travel Planners can however advise the airport/s and recommended times you need to fly into/out of.
2. Where should we arrive? Your flight should arrive and depart from Kotoka International Airport (IATA: ACC, ICAO: DGAA) where you will be welcomed by one of our representatives holding a signboard written "Fall For Your Travels".
3. Where will we stay? We will be staying in Luxury hotel accommodations in Accra & Adukrom.
4. What time do we check in and check out? Check-in is at 3 p.m. on the first day of your trip, if you are arriving later on in the day, that is completely fine we have a welcome dinner on the first night, so do your best to be in before 5 p.m. However, if you are unable to arrive early, you can take the first day to unwind and recuperate before day 2 of the trip. Check-out is at 12 p.m. on the last day of the trip, you’ll be able to keep your luggage at the hotel if your flight is later in the day on the day of check out, but everyone must check out by noon.
5. What do I need to prepare for the trip? Flights, travel insurance, any applicable visas and personal spending expenses.
6. Do I need a visa for travel to Ghana? You need a visa to travel to Ghana. In order to get this Visa, you will need to contact and visit your Local Embassy or Ghanaian Consulate. You can check the visa requirements to Ghana from any country on https://www.visahq.com/.
7. Do I need any vaccinations? You need to receive Yellow Fever vaccination certificates upon reaching Ghana, so make sure you have them with you upon reaching the country. You can get the vaccine early but at the latest 3 weeks before traveling to Ghana. Please note that entry requirements may change at any time without prior notice from the local government.
8. Where can I see the final itinerary? Final itineraries are usually shared with travelers by the travel planner one month prior to the start date of the trip. However, you can check in the inclusions section of the trip what activities are included to have a better reference of your trip.
9. Can I travel to a nearby country or city before/after the trip? Yes, you are definitely able to travel beyond the group trip, please reach out for further assistance.
